General Information What is the rush process like? Pledge process? What is a bid?
Rush is the formal recruitment process of fraternities. Students can see where their interest lies as they choose the fraternity for them. If you express interest in Omega Delta Phi or any fraternity, and they recognize in you a potential Brother, they will offer you a bid. A bid is a formal letter inviting you to partake in the pledge process. Pledging a fraternity is the process where you learn about the business aspect of the fraternity as well as more about the Brotherhood before becoming a Brother. During the prospective member process, a prospective member will learn about ODPhi's four Sacraments, national and chapter history, and any pertinent information that he will need to be an integrated member of the Brotherhood. The process focuses on academic growth, leadership development, and team building. Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. has a strict no hazing policy. |
